"I started creating performances and writing stories for and with my 6 siblings growing up in Michigan. Eventually I started writing skits for high school and eventually started an almost nightly ritual of making up bedtime stories for my nieces and nephews. In college, when I wasn’t performing on stage, I was listening to storytelling podcasts like Risk and This American Life and falling in love with New York City. I want my writing to highlight the raw and real complexities of the human condition with the hopes to foster empathy and transformation and inspire others to tell their story!"
